About Gabon
Gabon can be found on the western Atlantic coast of Central Africa, lying on the Equator between the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon. The climate is tropical and humid, with year round hot weather. Libreville is the capital and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Gabon, and is located close to the coast on the coastal plain region.
As well as the coastline, Gabon also features the highlands with the Crystal Mountains and the rainforest area to the east of the country. Gabon has many beautiful natural features which can be enjoyed by tourists, ranging from national parks to beaches and waterfalls.
It is also possible to participate in a safari expedition to see the country’s flora and fauna, including elephants, monkeys and hogs, making this a fantastic destination for anyone with an interest in wildlife and animals in their natural habitats.
