About Madagascar
Madagascar is a country that is ultimately like no other. An undiscovered collection of landscapes that boasts a variety of wildlife that is only found within the confines of the island.
Perhaps this is because Madagascar is a unique place, one that is made of different ecosystems in close proximity. In fact it is said that here you can go from walking through the lush green rainforest into the dry heat of the desert within 300km. Impressive to say the least.
With over 5000km of coastline and 450km of barrier reefs Madagascar is a haven for those who love nothing more than lounging on the golden sands watching the world go by. Or those who want to explore the deep ocean by popping on the scuba gear and diving into the crystal clear water.
Back on shore there is so much exploring to be done on the island that you will find yourself on the road and perhaps even off the beaten track; taking in not only the natural beauty and diversity but the cultural differences too.
Madagascar truly is a place that has to be experienced to be believed.
